WHat does the email daddy actually do?
We build, fix and run email marketing for online brands. That means we go inside your email platform, find where you’re leaking money, map out a plan to fix it, then either build your core flows, run your campaigns, or both. No vague “newsletter strategy” just emails built to move revenue.
Who is The Email Daddy for?
We work with product-based and online brands who already have traffic or sales, but know their email isn’t doing what it should. If you’ve got customers, a list, and you’re serious about treating email as a revenue channel (not an afterthought), you’re in the right place.
What platforms do you work with?
Your voice, just sharper. During onboarding we dig into your brand, tone, audience and products. We’ll then write in a way that feels like your brand, not like generic marketing speak, while still doing the job of selling.
How quickly will I see results?
For most brands with existing traffic and a list, you’ll usually see a lift as soon as your core flows go live and the first campaigns start going out consistently. We don’t promise magic numbers overnight, but we do build everything to be trackable so you can see what’s working.
Do you work with brands outside New Zealand?
Yes. We are based in NZ but we work with brands wherever you are, as long as we can communicate and your tech stack is workable. Payments are in NZD.
What exactly is included in the Inbox Audit & Revenue Map?
We log into your email platform and audit your current setup: flows, campaigns, list health and revenue. You get a written breakdown of what’s working, what’s broken, and a clear Revenue Map that shows where you’re leaving money on the table and the order we’d fix things in. You also get a Loom walkthrough where I talk you through it all in plain English.
Is the Audit a one-off or ongoing?
The Inbox Audit & Revenue Map is a one-off, fixed project. Think of it as a forensic report on your inbox. After that, you can either implement it yourself, hand it to your team, or hire us to build the flows and/or run your campaigns.
Will you implement the changes from the Audit?
Implementation isn’t included in the Audit itself. However, if you want u to build what we recommend, we can roll straight into a Core Flow Build or Done-For-You Campaigns package.
What do you need from me to do the Audit?
After purchase you’ll get an intake form where we ask about your brand, offers, audience and current numbers. We’ll also need access to your email platform. That’s it – from there we disappear inside your inbox and come back with your Audit + Revenue Map.
What flows do you usually build?
This depends on your Audit, but core flows typically include: Welcome / Onboarding, Abandoned Cart or Checkout, Post-Purchase, and Winback. For some brands we also add Browse Abandon, Replenishment, VIP and other flows once the basics are in place.
Will you set up segmentation and triggers too?
Yes. A flow is useless if it’s not triggering at the right time or hitting the right people. Part of the build is making sure the logic, timing and basic segmentation make sense for your store and data
What’s included in Done-For-You campaigns?
We plan your campaign calendar, write the emails, map the angles, and load/schedule them in your platform. You approve everything before it goes out. We’ll also review performance regularly and adjust subject lines, angles and content based on what’s working.
How many emails do you send each month?
This depends on your list size, offer mix and what level you’re on, but most brands sit somewhere between 4–12 campaigns per month. We’ll decide on frequency together so it supports your goals without burning your list.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes. Done-For-You is an ongoing partnership, not a one-off. There’s typically a minimum commitment (e.g. 3 months) so we have enough runway to test, learn and optimise. Exact details are discussed when you apply.
How do payments work?
For fixed projects (like the Audit), payment is taken upfront at checkout. For retainers, you’ll be invoiced monthly in advance. Work starts once payment has cleared.
Do you offer refunds?
No. Because this is time, expertise and custom work, there are no refunds once work has begun. Our job is to be clear about what you’re getting before you sign on, and then deliver exactly that.
Is my list too small to work with you?
If you’re pre-launch or have under a few hundred subscribers, you probably don’t need us yet, you need traffic and basic email capture first. If you’re not sure, you can still reach out and we’ll tell you honestly whether you’re ready.
